The Morion MV83 oven controlled crystal oscillator is famous for its high frequency stability at very low power consumption of less than 0.4W.

The Morion MV83 oven controlled crystal oscillator is famous for its high frequency stability at very low power consumption of less than 0.4W Now, a new version, the MV83M, provides extremely high short-term stability (Allan variance) of 0.001ppb/s, significantly improved phase noise of less than -115dBc at 1Hz offset and less than -160dBc noise floor (at 5MHz), combined with temperature-dependent frequency stability of up to +/-0.005ppm

This is combined with the same low level of power consumption (less than 0.4W), excellent aging of up to +/-0.03ppm/year and in the same 51 x 41 x 25mm package as the original MV83.

Currently, the MV83M is available at 5 and 10MHz, but other frequencies will be available in due course.
