Chang Sung Corp of Korea offers a complete range of molypermalloy powder (MPP) toroid cores.

Core loss is one of the most important specifications for designing inductors or chokes.

These MPP toroidal cores have distributed air gaps and are made from a 79% nickel, 17% iron and 4% molybdenum alloy powder that has the lowest core losses of any powder core material.

MPP cores possess many outstanding magnetic characteristics, such as high resistivity, low hysteresis and eddy current losses, excellent inductance stability after high DC magnetisation or under high DC bias conditions and minimal inductance shift up to 200mT under AC conditions.

Cores sizes range from 3.5 to 78.9mm outside diameter, with a initial permeability ranging from 26 to 200u.

MPP cores are excellent as low-loss inductors for switch-mode power supplies, switching regulators, noise filters etc.
