The new CWS-5292A SMT inductor features a helical winding on a high-flux powder core.

The new CWS-5292A SMT inductor features a helical winding on a high-flux powder core.

These 80A surface-mount high-current inductors boast the highest current ratings in the industry with this small form factor.

They are wound using a flat helix wire on high-flux cores to achieve minimum core loss and the highest efficiency.

The saturation flux density of these inductors is over 1000mT.

The windings are CWS proprietary flat coil with 2.4mm width and insulated with 250C Kapton material.

The inductors measure 13.97 x 17.78mm with a height of 5.68mm.

The inductance is 0.3uH and maximum DC resistance is 0.4mohm.

All devices have coplanar SMT pretinned leads for directly soldering to PCBs and are available bulk packaged or in tape and reel packaging.

Custom designs for other inductances and current ratings are available.
