ACE has developed a new range of SMD chokes for the latest laptop, PC and server board designs.

ACE has developed a new range of SMD chokes for the latest laptop, PC and server board designs Input chokes are available with current ratings of 15-20A and typical inductance values of 0.5uH

The output chokes have a current ratings up to 50A, inductance values up to 1.5uH and very low DCR.

The S39 and SW39 series are designed for current ratings up to 50A peak with compact 7.2 x 6.8 x 5.5 and 13.5 x 12.7 x 5.5mm footprints.

These unique platforms, developed using advanced material, design and modelling techniques, minimiss DC losses.

There are a total of six inductance values available from 0.33 to 1.5uH.

Operating temperature range is from -40 to +100C.

Maximum direct current resistance is 0.80mohm.

Both models have flat-top packages compatible with pick-and-place manufacturing processes, and are delivered in tape-and-reel packaging.
