Hittite Microwave has released a new 10W GaAs MMIC positive control T/R switch for cellular/3G, mobile radio and automotive telematics applications from 0.2 to 2.2GHz The HMC546MS8G is a low loss, high linearity GaAs MMIC 10W T/R switch housed in an 8-lead MSOP8G surface mount package
This switch provides exceptionally high P0.1dB compression of +40dBm, and input IP3 of +65dBm on the transmit (Tx) port, making it ideal for use in transmit-receive applications which require very low distortion at high input power levels.
On-chip circuitry enables the HMC546MS8G to operate with single positive control voltages from 0/+3 to 0/+8V, with very low DC current consumption.
An RoHS compliant version of this product is also available.
Samples and evaluation PC boards are available from stock and can be ordered from MRC Components.
