Hittite Microwave Corp has released three new GaAs PHEMT MMIC amplifiers for point to point, point to multipoint, test equipment, sensors and military applications from 6 to 25.5GHz.

Hittite Microwave Corp has released three new GaAs PHEMT MMIC amplifiers for point to point, point to multipoint, test equipment, sensors and military applications from 6 to 25.5GHz.

The HMC342LC4 is a GaAs PHEMT MMIC low noise amplifier housed in an RoHS-compliant 4 x 4mm SMT package, and operating from 13 to 25GHz.

The amplifier offers 22dB gain and a noise figure of 3.5dB, and the RF I/Os are matched to 50ohm and internally DC blocked for simplified implementation.

The HMC342LC4 operates from a single positive supply of +3.0V and consumes only 43mA.

The HMC441LC3B and HMC442LC3B are efficient GaAs PHEMT MMIC medium power amplifiers housed in 3 x 3mm RoHS-compliant SMT packages.

Operating between 6.0 and 25.5GHz, these amplifiers provide 13 to 17dB of gain and +22 to +23dBm of saturated output power at 27% PAE.

Both amplifiers operate from a single positive supply of +5.0V, and consume less than 95mA.

The HMC441LC3B and HMC442LC3B require no external matching components, and are ideal as linear drivers for Hittite power amplifiers or as LO buffers for Hittite mixers.

Samples and evaluation PC boards are available from stock and can be ordered from MRC Components.
