Hittite Microwave Corp has released a SiGe HBT gain block MMIC amplifier for use in cellular/3G, FWA, CATV, microwave radio and test equipment applications from DC to 6GHz The HMC474MP86 is a general purpose SiGe heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) gain block MMIC SMT amplifier covering DC to 6GHz

This Micro-P packaged amplifier can be used as a cascadable 50ohm RF/IF gain stage with 15.5dB gain and up to +11dBm saturated output power.

The HMC474MP86 delivers an output IP3 of +22dBm at 850MHz, while operating from a single positive supply as low as +3V, and consuming only 25mA.

The Darlington feedback pair topology results in reduced sensitivity to normal process variations and excellent gain stability over temperature and requires no external matching components.

An RoHS compliant version of this product is available as the HMC474MP86E.

Samples and evaluation PC boards are available from stock and can be ordered via MRC Components.
