Two new fully integrated power amplifier modules are ideal for cellular/3G repeaters, wireless data, laboratory and automatic test equipment applications.

Hittite Microwave Corp has released two new fully integrated power amplifier modules that are ideal for cellular/3G repeaters, wireless data, laboratory and automatic test equipment (ATE) applications.

The HMC-C012 and the HMC-C013 power amplifier modules provide 40dB of small signal gain and a minimum of 10W of output power at 1dB compression.

The HMC-C012 operates from 400 to 1000MHz, whereas the HMC-C013 covers 800 to 2000MHz.

Both power amplifier modules deliver an outstanding +34dBm of output channel power with -50dBc ACPR at 885kHz offset in cdma2000 applications.

These PA modules are extremely robust and offer a number of built-in protective features including thermal fault protection, over voltage and reverse voltage polarity protection and DC blocked RF I/Os.

Internal temperature compensation circuitry allows the HMC-C012 and the HMC-C013 to maintain small signal gain variations to within +/-1.0dB over the entire operating temperature range.
