Hittite Microwave Corp has introduced a new 0.5dB LSB, 6bit digital attenuator connectorised module which is ideal for military EW/ECM, space, test equipment and microwave radio applications from DC to 13GHz.
The HMC-C025 is a DC to 13GHz 6bit digital attenuator housed in a hermetic connectorised module.
This GaAs MMIC based attenuator features 4dB typical insertion loss, +38dBm input IP3, and 31.5dB total attenuation in 0.5dB steps.
The HMC-C025 operates with positive control and offers excellent attenuation accuracy of +/-0.3dB.
The HMC-C025 wideband digital attenuator features removable SMA connectors to facilitate mating with standard coaxial cable assemblies, or the connectors can be quickly detached for direct connection of the module's I/O pins to a microstrip or grounded coplanar printed circuit board.
This hermetically sealed module is rated for operation from -55 to +85C, and can be assembled and screened for military and space applications.
