Teledyne has added a 3V DC coil to its 172 series of electromechanical relays to meet customer demand for the additional operating voltage.

Available from MRC Components, this coil is in addition to the 5, 12 and 26V DC versions already offered.

Fully RoHS compliant, the hermetically sealed device has DPDT contacts with terminal pins spaced on a 2.5mm grid.

The relay's inherently low intercontact capacitance and contact circuit losses make it suitable for high packaging density applications requiring long life and repeatability such as ATE, attenuators and test instruments, as well as the high-performance requirements found in wireless and mobile communications.

The overall dimensions are just 8.5 x 8.5 x 7.1mm.
