Techspray coating speeds up board production

Techspray has launched a fast thermal cure conformal coating product with a tack-free time of three minutes.

This gives electronic assembly manufacturers the ability to handle boards in a third of the time of other acrylic coatings, said the company.

Full cure can be achieved as quickly as 10 minutes with elevated temperatures, added Techspray.

Techspray's Turbo-coat is designed to speed up board production throughput without additional investment of expensive UV systems or other capital equipment.

The coating is UL94 V-0 rated and IPC-CC-830 and MIL-I-46058C tested.
