A new series of backlight panels is available in a variety of colours and sizes, making them ideal for a wide range of applications.
Marktech also reckons designers will choose these compact devices for space-limited designs that require high-brightness LCD backlighting.
The new LED is able to deliver typical performance of 35 lumen/W thanks to a low thermal resistance package that provides improved heat release characteristics.
Typical forward voltage for the new device is rated at 3.4V (at a forward current of 250mA).
A wide operating temperature range of -40 to +100C ensures suitability for a broad range of commercial, domestic, industrial and automotive applications.
Designed for use with automated lead-free (Pb-free) production lines, the new surface mount device is compatible with reflow soldering processes at temperatures up to 260C.
Pricing for the TLWK1100B is US $1.97 in 10,000-unit lots, and free samples are available now.
