Addon module embeds 24bit acquisition
Wildcard accepts low level signals directly from transducers, amplifies and conditions them, and converts them with 24bit resolution with no missing codes.

I/O cards simplify acquisition system design
A new family of stackable I/O modules from Mosaic Industries further expands the control capabilities of Mosaic's C-programmable embedded computers and touchscreen-controlled operator interfaces.
Easy expansion for compact SBC
The Qcard is a tiny 2 x 2.5in single board computer that fits any handheld or space-constrained application and dramatically cuts the cost of data acquisition and control for OEMs.
Mounted on any of Mosaic's single board computers, it provides a high performance analogue front end, offering exceptional resolution, stability, and noise rejection.
The analogue-to-digital subsystem performs signal conditioning and conversion for up to seven input channels.
Amplifier gain, lowpass filter corner frequency and sampling rate are all software programmable using simple commands.
Conversion rate is programmable from 4.8Hz to over 1.01kHz.
Other features under software control include self-calibration, system calibration, input gain, filter cutoff, channel selection, signal polarity, and bipolar or unipolar input ranges.
The 24/7 Data Acquisition system can extract highly accurate data, even from noisy sources with imperfect signal conditioning in electrically harsh environments.
It has 256 times the resolution of standard 16bit convertors, but at comparable cost.
This tiny 2 x 2.5in board is a member of the Wildcard series that connects to any of Mosaic's controllers.
Up to eight mix-and-match Wildcards can be stacked onto Mosaic's single board computers and graphical user interfaces for a unique combination of specialised I/O.
Other Wildcards include Ethernet, USB, GPS, octal 12bit D/A and 16bit A/D convertors, signal conditioning, CompactFlash mass memory interface, fast buffered RS232/485 dual UART, high voltage/high current isolated I/O, AC or DC solid state relays, and more.
The DA24/7 Wildcard is US $112 in 100-unit quantities and is available immediately.
