Cells improve with market research
Saft derived the performance parameters for MP 176065 cell from analysis of market trends combined with calls for increased power and improved charge/discharge characteristics at low temperatures.
For safe and fast battery charging, new chargers must be able to handle a broad range of battery specifications.
Mascot has identified this development and has developed a new range of chargers, the models 2015 and 2215, to meet the demand for more flexible and versatile charging.
The standard 2015 and 2215 models are fast chargers using -dV detection, but as the chargers are based on a programmable microprocessor, they can readily be programmed to fit a variety of specifications.
Both models are equally suited to charging NiCd batteries.
Other key features include: an automatic polyswitch fuse against reversed polarity on output; compliance with international standards for medical use (EN60601), UL approval pending; and custom and waterproof units (IP67) are available on request.
