Mistry steps up to new responsibilities

Multi-Tech Systems has promoted its UK Manager, Dilip Mistry, to the expanded role and position of Managing Director, EMEA This is in line with the company's decision to streamline and consolidate its EMEA sales, product marketing, technical support and product distribution operations under the management of the Reading, UK-based office which now becomes the Multi-Tech Systems EMEA headquarters

Multi-Tech Systems has expanded its embedded solutions product line to include Ethernet and telephony interface modules.
In addition to the UK business, Mistry's remit will be to increase sales of Multi-Tech's Converged and Embedded product lines through the channel in key EMEA territories, especially France and Germany, where the company has already seen signs of positive growth in 2003 and promise significant potential for 2004.
Mistry has two decades of experience in data and voice communications.
Prior to joining Multi-Tech in 1991 to set up and run the UK operation, Mistry worked at US Robotics as Pre-Sales Manager.
Commenting on his new role, he said: "I have been encouraged by Multi-Tech's overall sales performance in the EMEA region this year and now look forward to working closely with our local in-country sales teams and distribution partners.
Our restructuring of EMEA operations ensures we are correctly positioned to maximise economies of scale while fully leveraging the growing demand for our convergence and embedded products across the region".
