High power factor for 1kW convertor

Martek Power Abbott (formerly Abbott Electronics) has expanded its product line to include the all-new PFC1000 high-power convertor that offers 1kW output power.

Martek Power Abbott (formerly Abbott Electronics) has expanded its product line to include the all-new PFC1000 high-power convertor that offers 1kW output power.

The PFC1000 converts a wide range of single-phase AC inputs (85-264V AC, 47-440Hz) to a regulated 380V DC output with a very high input power factor.

The convertor operates over the temperature range -40 to +100C with efficiency in exceed of 94%.

And when used with PFF1000, a passive input line EMI filter, the convertor complies with CE01 and CE03 of MIL-STD-461C and CE 101 and CE102 of MIL-STD-461E on the input leads.
