Mission-critical DC/DC range spreads to 150W

The versatile CB75S and CB150S are highly reliable, off-the-shelf, 28V DC/DC convertors that promises to broaden the application ranges in military, industrial and aerospace that the CB series have offered.

The CB75S is a 75W single-output device in a quarter-brick size; while the CB150S is a half-size 150W single-output power convertor.

Both products feature a wide input range of 16 to 40V DC and output range of 2 to 48V DC.

Standard features include programmable output, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, remote sense and TTL remote turn on.

All CB models are available in I (unscreened) and M (screened) grades.

The CB series is designed with a power magnetic using planar technology with primary and secondary windings integrated into the PCB.

This design approach maximises power densities of the CB75S and CB150S to 45.38 and 60.92W/in3, respectively, boosts efficiencies and keeps costs low by simplifying manufacturing process.

These together with full specified performance over an operating temperature range of -55 to +100C from no load to full load make the CB75S and CB150S unique in the mission-critical market segment.
