More power from multichannel convertors

High-reliability COTS DC/DC convertors come with multiple independent 75W outputs designed for applications in military, industrial and aerospace sectors.

Martek Power Abbott has added two further high-power multichannel devices to its 28V-input DC/DC convertor family The CB150D and CB225T are each available with 2, 3.3, 5, 5.2, 12, 15, 24 and 28V DC outputs, expanding the choice of output power of the CB series DC/DC power convertor to a range of 5 to 225W

The new devices are high-reliability COTS convertors with multiple independent 75W outputs designed for applications in military, industrial and aerospace.

Measuring 57.9 x 73.7 x 12.7mm in size, the CB150D is a 150W device with two independent 75W output channels.

The CB225T, which measures 57.9 x 110.5 x 12.7mm in size, is a triple-output module with three independent 75W output channels.

Both DC/DC convertors feature a wide input range of 16 to 40V DC and a power density of 45W/in3.

Standard features include remote turn on/off (TTL), output overvoltage trim pin, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, fixed-frequency (500kHz) conversion and synchronisation input.

All models are available in I (unscreened) and M (screened) grades, and boosting efficiency as high as 84%.

These together with full specified performance over an operating temperature range of -55 to +100C from no load to full load make the two new models unique in the mission critical market segment.

Pricing of the CB150D and CB225T in the quantity of 50 to 99 are US $495 and $675, respectively (unscreened). Request a free brochure from Martek Power ...
