DSP design papers feature at TI conferences

The MathWorks will be taking a major part the upcoming series of Texas Instruments Developer Conferences (TIDC).

The MathWorks will be taking a major part the upcoming series of Texas Instruments Developer Conferences (TIDC).

Experts from The MathWorks will lead workshops and discuss papers on model-based design at locations across Europe and Israel, focusing on simulation, implementation, and verification of video, audio, and control applications.

At each conference, The MathWorks will also deliver an invited sponsor presentation: "Model-based design with Simulink and TI DSPs", which will discuss the benefits of Model-Based Design and the collaboration between The MathWorks and Texas Instruments (TI).

The TIDC takes place in multiple countries and offers delegates a variety of interactive sessions and technical workshops that introduce new system solutions and platforms from Texas Instruments.

Speakers include TI and industry experts who are advancing the technology that will shape and enhance tomorrow's applications.

The TIDC will take place in France on 28th and 29th March 2006, the UK on 30th and 31st March and Germany on 4th and 5th April.

It will also convene in Israel on 7th and 8th June 2006.

The MathWorks is a gold-level sponsor in all four locations, and will give an invited sponsor presentation at each event.

The invited sponsor presentation: "Model-based design with Simulink and TI DSPs", will be presented by Amnon Gai, Partner Marketing Manager at The MathWorks, on the first day of each conference at 0945.

The following technical papers and workshops will be presented at each location: "Model-based design of motor control applications for TI DSPs using Matlab and Simulink"; "Matlab and Simulink for the design and implementation of video processing systems on TI C6000TM DSP"; and "Matlab and Simulink for design and implementation of motor and motion control systems on TI C2000 DSP".
