Actiprobe comprises a new range of "active" safety test probes for high-frequency engineering applications Suitable for use with various test instruments (including oscilloscopes, spectrum and network analysers), the Actiprobe incorporates a range of enhanced performance features that make it ideal for measurements requiring the undistorted display of steep signal pulses

Offering an extremely low input capacitance of less than 1.2pF and a wide frequency range with bandwidth up to 1.3GHz, there are four different device types designed for 50ohm or high-impedance (above 100kohm) scope inputs and available in either AC or switchable DC/AC versions.

With a dividing ration of 10:1, all models in the range are fully insulated to assure safe usage offering touch-protection to 1000V, Cat II in accordance with IEC/EN61010-2-031.

In addition, the BNC connection has also been enhanced to allow a significantly greater number of connecting cycles to be made without the loss of quality suffered by conventional alternatives.

Leads for all probe versions are supplied in a standard length of 120cm, with power provided by an external mains source.

Each probe has an operating temperature range between -30 and +90C.

Complementing the Actiprobe is a wide choice of push-on accessories including BNC adapters, probes, reference clips and a padded storage case.
