Due to the presence of intensive energy levels on the input side of electrical installations, Multi-Contact's new 4mm test leads with inline plugs are specifically designed to withstand Cat IV voltages.
Featuring a high level of flexibility, the leads are able to function in a range of conditions while ensuring the safest connectivity.
Each lead includes a Multilam plug with a rigid insulating sleeve at each end and is available insulated in PVC, silicone or TPE.
With a conductor cross-section of 2.5mm2, the leads are rated to 1000V at 32A.
To complement the leads, Multi-Contact has also launched a new compatible 4mm test probe and a selection of 4mm test clips which extend its commitment to safety in electrical testing and measurement.
The new 2mm diameter stainless steel test probe accepts spring-loaded 4mm test lead plugs within a rigid insulating sleeve.
This is also the case for Multi-Contact's 4mm test clips which are ideal for connecting to ground rails and thick cables.
Externally insulated steel jaws allow for increased protection when forming connections with these clips.
Finally, a collection of adapters completes the new IEC/EN61010-031-compliant product lineup from Multi-Contact.
The range consists of a magnetic contact adapter, screw-on adapters and an adapter for hexagonal screw heads.
The Multi-Contact range of interlinking Cat IV products comply with modern safety standards without the need for modification.
