Metrowerks' development tools for ARM processors, first released in March 2002, enable developers to create a range of applications for ARM devices, including 2.5G and 3G mobile phones, as well as most handheld computers.
The CodeWarrior development and debugging environment is the only fully integrated development tool suite on the market that can address the entire spectrum of pre- to post-platform development - from board bring-up, to operating system development, to application development.
This makes it possible for the same toolchain to be used by the device manufacturer to build the consumer product, by the platform vendor to build the operating system environment, and by the application development community to create content for the platform.
CodeWarrior development tools for ARM embedded systems, Version 1.2, is available today for Windows platforms direct from Metrowerks and from Metrowerks authorised distributors.
The suggested retail price for the product is US $4995 per license.
