Metrowerks has been selected by Nokia to provide technology to Forum Nokia Pro - a new programme that provides developers with support for the creation of applications for Nokia handsets.

Metrowerks has been selected by Nokia to provide technology to Forum Nokia Pro - a new programme that provides developers with support for the creation of applications for Nokia handsets.

Metrowerks Developer Services plans to equip the Forum Nokia Pro developer programme with industry-leading services and web infrastructure designed to enhance the fulfillment of service to programme members, including an infrastructure that allows Nokia to implement targeted developer campaigns as well as generate and manage developer-facing content.

Forum Nokia Pro will be available to new developers as well as current members of Forum Nokia - the world's largest dedicated wireless developer community consisting of more than 1.3 million registered users.

The new programme is the most resource-intensive developer offering ever available from Forum Nokia, providing a wide range of exclusive services and benefits, including: "early bird" access to the latest Nokia information, tools and devices; top-of-queue priority to technical support from Forum Nokia's virtual helpdesk; opportunities to attend free technical courses; opportunities to demonstrate applications in Nokia's booth at select events; preferred consideration for inclusion in Nokia-published software catalogues; and support for marketing and publicity activities the companies themselves undertake.
