A new interactive CD helps engineers select the best software and hardware for their test, measurement and industrial control applications, saving valuable time in configuring and developing systems.

Engineers can use the new National Instruments Measurement and Control Designer 2004 CD to quickly and easily select the best software and hardware for their test, measurement and industrial control applications, saving valuable time and resources in configuring and developing systems.

The new Measurement and Control Designer 2004 CD interfaces with an online advisor at on the NI website to generate hardware and software recommendations based on application requirements such as temperature range, shock, vibration, determinism and I/O signal types.

Engineers also can specify their controller, I/O modules and signal conditioning options, as well as design complete Scada systems using the advisor.

The Measurement and Control Designer 2004 CD also includes hundreds of helpful resources and tools to significantly reduce setup time and costs, including example programs, video tutorials, application notes, white papers and customer solutions.

Engineers can also access detailed descriptions of new NI products, such as industrial digital I/O boards and Compact FieldPoint distributed I/O.
