The NI PXI-8187 controller features a 2.5GHz Intel Pentium 4-M processor and up to 1Gbyte of double-datarate SDRAM (DDR-SDRAM).

Engineers can use the new controller for a wide range of applications from high-performance automated systems to low-cost embedded systems.

The controller's rugged and industrial packaging makes it ideal for performing a variety of functions in harsh environments, including machine monitoring and control, functional test and data acquisition.

The NI PXI-8187 controller incorporates an extensive set of peripherals such as hard drive, serial, USB, GPIB and Ethernet into a single module to ease system integration.

National Instruments PXI embedded controllers operate with all PXI and CompactPCI peripheral modules and are available with Windows XP/2000 or NI LabView Real-Time installed.

NI delivers worldwide support for its controllers with installations of Windows in English, Japanese, Spanish, German, Korean, French and traditional Chinese.
