Graphical system design hits the road

A National Instruments product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Aug 26, 2008

The 2008 LabView Roadshow is free to attend and is scheduled for seven locations around the UK and Ireland.

The 2008 LabView Roadshow will comprise a series of full-day technical sessions and product demonstrations based on NI LabView 8.6, the latest version of the graphical system design software platform for control, test and embedded system development.

The roadshow is free to attend and takes place in seven locations around the UK and Ireland.

LabView 8.6 delivers new tools to help engineers and scientists take advantage of the benefits of multicore processors, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) and wireless communication.

Roadshow delegates will be given the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn how to design and build powerful measurement and control applications using the award-winning graphical programming software.

During the hands-on session, delegates will implement a truly parallel multi-threaded application in LabView 8.6 and take advantage of multicore supercomputing.

Other topics include the concept of Graphical System Design with LabView graphical programming, and how the latest bus technologies are used for data acquisition.

Registration for the LabView Roadshow 2008 is free via the NI website.
