Semiconductor association welcomes new
member
The first of the NML's new Business Associate Members is Oracle, the world's largest enterprise software company.
The National Microelectronics Institute has created a new class of membership Business Associate Membership' is intended for companies with a keen interest in the performance of the sector and able to offer additional support to NML members

Continuing its programme of technical and business forums, The National Microelectronics Institute (NMI) is organising an event focused on the verification challenges in IC design.
The first of the NML's new Business Associate Members is Oracle, the world's largest enterprise software company.
John Moor, Marketing Director at the NML said, "The NML has been very successful in growing its core membership in recent years and the time is now right to introduce a new category of membership that can offer additional, practical help".
"In building the NML community it's essential we work closely with all those that help create the right environment in which our industry can thrive".
He continued, "We're proud to have Oracle as our first Business Associate Member, the company has intimate knowledge of the sector and already provides our membership with enterprise software solutions on which their businesses depend".
Enrique Lopez Tello, Vice President Manufacturing and Hi-Tech EMEA at Oracle said, "In providing the microelectronics sector with business software that raises operational efficiency, we need to be fully aware of the evolving needs of supply chain management and semiconductor manufacturing processes for example".
"By becoming a member of the NML we aim to participate more closely in the work of the Institute and to gain even more insight into the challenges faced by the industry as a whole".
