FPGA cores aim to beat DSPs at floating point
Nallatech has launched a fully IEEE754-compliant single-precision floating-point core library which now allows Xilinx's FPGAs to exceed the floating-point performance of the latest DSPs.
"Over the last decade, Nallatech has developed a substantial global customer base that includes several of the major defence prime contractors".
"The deployable product family has been developed in direct response to demand from customers for application-ready technology and builds on the company's highly successful DIME-II and HPC product families", says Craig Anderson, CEO at Nallatech.
