"Realistic worstcase interconnect models are a serious customer concern for those targeting 130nm and below", said Kazuhide Sai, President and CEO, Ivis.
"Our customers, who are among the major IDMs in Japan, need to add Nanno's software to their pre-layout and physical verification flows to improve design performance and time to market".
The same comment was echoed and underscored by Yong-Uk Yu, President and CEO of Seloco.
Yu added: "IDMs and fabless design houses can improve manufacturability, design performance and yield by using Nanno Solutions' worst-case interconnect models, rather than using more conservative foundry models".
"Because of proven results, we are already engauged with some of Korea's major IDMs and leading fabless design houses".
Yao-Chang Chang, Vice President of Avant Technology, Nanno Solutions distributor in Taiwan, shared the same view about the importance of worst-case interconnect modelling in nanometre designs of 90 nm and below.
He remarked: "For design geometrics of 90 nm and below, worst-case interconnect modelling is of paramount importance".
"Our customers have already started 90nm designs, and we believe that Nanno Solutions' worst-case interconnect modelling products, Nanno-WiN and Nanno-CaL, will add value to the growing IC industry in Taiwan".
"The EDA business in Asia continues to extend rapidly in revenue growth, compared with other regions especially in DFM/DFY", commented Won-Young Jung, CTO and cofounder of Nanno Solutions.
"We appointed IVIS, Seloco, and Avant Technology because they are already working with major IDMs and fabless design houses customers in their regions and are experienced distributors of EDA, TCAD and other semiconductor products".
