Nazomi Communications has set up a strategic agreement with Aplix Corp to provide powerful Java multimedia functionality to wireless mobile handsets and consumer electronics products.
Nazomi Communications has set up a strategic agreement with Aplix Corp to provide powerful Java multimedia functionality to wireless mobile handsets and consumer electronics products The two firms are leveraging the strengths of Nazomi's JStar, Universal Acceleration Technology, with JBlend, Aplix Corporation's best of breed Java platform
By combining these innovative hardware and software technologies, handset and consumer electronics manufacturers can bring fully accelerated, Java-powered mobile devices to market faster.
The integration of Nazomi's acceleration solutions and Aplix's JBlend platform enables mobile wireless handsets and other Internet appliances to run highly functional Java applications that are very responsive, yet require minimal power consumption.
As a result, carriers and service providers, that utilize the combined offering, can confidently deploy revenue-enhancing services that are developed with Java application software.
This, in turn, means that their end-user customers can more readily use portable devices to run complex Java applications like multimedia messaging, 2D/3D games, location-based and financial services, among others.
