PCB company opens new facilities

NBS has opened two additional PCB layout facilities after expanding its Santa Clara facility.

EMS provider NBS Design has added two new operations to complement its existing, eight- year-old PCB layout business.

NBS Design is a fully integrated contract manufacturer based in Santa Clara, California.

It is a source for rapid response, turnkey manufacturing solutions from NPI to pilot production and for X-ray test and rework services, as well as box build assembly.

Following completion earlier this summer of the expansion of its Santa Clara manufacturing facility, NBS has opened two additional PCB layout facilities.

The first, in Dallas, Texas, has been in operation since mid-July.

Russ Wirth has taken charge of the operation there.

In mid-August NBS will open its third layout operation.

This one will be located in Nashua, New Hampshire and another PCB industry veteran, Kathy Descoteaux, has joined the NBS management team and will run that operation.

"PCB layout is at the core of the history of our business", explains NBS President Craig Arcuri.

"We're pleased with its flourishing growth and with the addition of two such prominent and experienced industry players who will help us to provide a broadened service with a national footprint".
