Long life for ballast capacitors

Designed for ballast applications, the PT series of electrolytic capacitors features a load life of 5kh at 105C (160kh at 55C) and a temperature range of -25 to +105C.

Ripple current, depending on capacitance and working voltage is across the range 150 to 1600mA, capacitance range is 15 to 820mF, tolerance is +/-20% and working voltage is 200 to 450V DC.

Designed for applications where space is at a premium, size range is from 10 x 31.5 to 25 x 50mm.

The PT series is impervious to the majority of cleaning solvents.

The electrolytic capacitors can be supplied with formed leads or with taped leads for automatic insertion.
