Tophat keeps a low profile

Designed for automatic insertion using carrier tape and for high-density printed circuit boards, the new ZD series of surface mount Tophat capacitors from Nichicon (Europe) are only 3mm high Size in no way negates performance because the series operates across the temperature range of -40 to +85C providing a load life of 1000h at the top temperature of 85C (8000h at 55C)
Rated ripple is 7 to 70mA, depending on capacitance and working voltage.
Capacitance range is 2.2 to 100uF, tolerance 20% and working voltage 4 to 25V.
The ZD series can be cleaned automatically as they are impervious to the majority of cleaning fluids.
