Electrolytics aim for ballast
applications
The PZ series of electrolytic capacitors features high voltage and high ripple current characteristics that make them ideal for ballast applications.
Designed for ballast applications because of their high voltage and high ripple current characteristics, the PZ series of electrolytic capacitors have a load life of 2kh at 105C (64kh at 55C) Available from Nichicon (Europe), the ripple of the PZ series is 1270mA at 105C and rated voltage is a high 200 to 440V
Capacitance range is 18 to 470uF, tolerance +/-20% and temperature range is -25 to +105C.
The radial lead electrolytic capacitors are available in two styles and range in size from 10 x 31.5 to 18 x 40mm.
