The NT3225 series are SMD temperature-compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs) measuring just 3.2 x 2.5mm with a maximum height of only 1.2mm.

The NT3225 series are SMD temperature-compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs) measuring just 3.2 x 2.5mm with a maximum height of only 1.2mm Standard frequencies include 12.6, 13.0, 14.4, 19.2, 19.68, 19.8 and 26MHz with other frequencies available

The NT3225 exhibits very low phase noise performance of -137dBc/Hz (typical) 1kHz at offset.

It is applicable to the low supply voltage of +2.4+/-0.1V DC while consuming only 1.5mA maximum with a load of 10kohm/10pF.

The device exhibits an excellent frequency stability of +/-2.5ppm maximum over the operating temperature range of -30 to +85C.

The NT3225 has an output voltage of 0.8V (peak to peak) minimum and the AFC characteristics are +/-9 to +/-15ppm at 1.5+/-1V.

Aging characteristics are +/-1ppm per year.

"The multiple functions demanded in today's mobile phones are driving the requirement for smaller high-performance frequency-control devices.

To meet these demands NDK's engineers developed the NT3225 TCXO that is more than 20% smaller than its predecessor", said Mike Walczak, President, NDK America.

Delivery for the NT3225 series is 8 to 10 weeks.

Cost for 10,000 pieces NT3225 12.6MHz packaged tape and reel is approximately $2.95 each.

Qualified engineering samples may be ordered at no cost.
