NetBurner has introduced the first module targeted at the low cost low power embedded space.

NetBurner has introduced the first module targeted at the low cost low power embedded space The MOD5213 boasts 66MHz of performance on a 32bit ColdFire platform with full speed operating current under 40mA

Dynamic power control enables this module to fully function with a quiescent of less than 12mA (stop mode at less the 3mA).

The MOD5213 has a rich set of peripherals making it ideal for both communications and control applications.

The MOD5213 is based on the Version 2 ColdFire core.

Equipped with a full featured real time operating system the MOD5213 is ideal for any deterministic application.

Real time capability, extended temperature operation, and low power features allow the MOD5213 to operate in the harshest environment.

The industry standard 40-pin DIP form factor is ideal for rapid prototyping.

Installed in a socket or soldered straight to the board, the MOD5213 can fit into almost any space constrained enclosure.

The MOD5213 development kit also includes all the tools necessary to complete your embedded design, including a world class IDE, graphical debugger, and real time operating system.

The resident boot monitor enables code development from the moment the tools are installed.

The optional BDM connector can be used by simply sliding the NBNetBDM onto the end of the DIP package.

Using the NetBDM enables the full featured NetBurner deployment tool suite to used speeding the development cycle even more.

NetBurner has made a business out of simplifying the implementation of embedded products.

The NetBurner solution provides fully functional hardware, an integrated development environment, a rich library of RTOS API functions and deployment tools.

Together, these features ease the development process enabling shorter time to market.

The MOD5213 is available at a price of $39 in 100-unit quantities.
