NetTest has formalised an agreement with the Institute of Computing Technology, China Academy of Sciences (ICT).

NetTest has formalised an agreement with the Institute of Computing Technology, China Academy of Sciences (ICT) Under this exclusive agreement, ICT has developed and integrated the most powerful IPv6 protocol conformance test suites, including IPv6 routing conformance, for NetTest's interWatch performance and verification system

The worldwide relationship will be in effect for two years, during which time both NetTest and ICT will work closely to develop and promote the solution globally.

"As a national research institution, ICT seeks to co-operate with leading worldwide enterprises in research and development of network technologies.

NetTest's expertise and experience in network testing, and ICT's excellent research capacity, resulted in the delivery of a superior testing solution for the global IPv6 industry.

IPv6 Protocol Conformance Test Suites is the first project in a series of co-operative efforts between NetTest and ICT", said Dr Zhongcheng Li, director of network research division of ICT.

"NetTest is delighted to engage in a relationship with one of the most reputable research institutions in China, to deliver IPv6 Conformance and Routing solutions", said Stephane Attal, vice president and general manager NetTest.

"NetTest's extensive expertise in testing solutions and worldwide sales and support presence, combined with the outstanding academic credentials of ICT's researchers, provides a solution that is second to none for telecommunications equipment manufacturers and network operators".
