A new automated fibre handler enables optical fibre manufacturers to reduce production costs by automating time-consuming optical fibre stripping, cleaning, cleaving and temporary coupling operations.
Telia Mobile Denmark originally selected MasterQuest to monitor its voice and SMS services in December 2001.
It is now expanding the coverage to include mobile data services (GPRS).
This provides Telia Mobile Denmark's key decision makers with a single source of information on the end-to-end quality for all mobile services (voice, text and packet data).
MasterQuest provides the tools to optimise network usage and operating more efficiently, leading to improved profits.
"Mobile networks are getting more complex as we add a new generation of mobile data services to our traditional voice and SMS services.
Our customers demand reliable, high quality services at a competitive price.
To keep our costs down as we add new technology to the network, we need tools that allow us to operate efficiently", said Finn Behrendt Sorensen, Technical Director, Telia Mobile Denmark.
"MasterQuest provides simultaneous support for all our services, this means we can detect faults before they effect our customers and fix them fast".
"NetTest has a long relationship with the Telia Group, but that doesn't mean we don't have to compete for all new business.
The increasing list of GSM networks that have chosen MasterQuest to monitor their GPRS services is proof that we have the best solution for networks needing accurate, fast information about what is happening in their networks", said Michael Rasmussen, Vice President, General Manager, Network Management Systems, NetTest.
"This order strengthens our position as a supplier of monitoring systems to the Telia Group and confirms we were correct to focus on developing the worlds leading system for simultaneous monitoring of GSM and GPRS services.
Whenever an existing customer places an expansion order, I know that they are buying more than a sales pitch.
They have seen for themselves that NetTest and MasterQuest can make them more profitable".
