NIC Eurotech has been recognised at this year's Citizen Newspaper Business Awards event held in Milton Keynes.
The Buckingham based passive components specialist received a certificate and special mention for its strong investment in staff and a highly innovative approach to advertising and promotion.
Mark Osborne, NIC Eurotech's General Manager attended the event along with 300 other invited guests.
The awards were presented by world renowned Polar explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes, who was once described as 'the worlds greatest living explorer' by the Guinness Book of Records.
The evening was compered by Barrister Graham Davies who began his speaking career at the Cambridge Union, debating with such famous and diverse names as Michael Heseltine and Nicholas Parsons.
Commenting on the award and the evening, Mark Osborne said: "Being recognised for our staff investment is very pleasing.
As a business we place huge importance on ensuring that our employees are trained and equipped so that they are able to present a knowledgeable and competent face to our customers.
Meeting Ranulph Fiennes was a great experience, however the electronics industry seems a bit tame after listening to accounts of his experiences".
