Solid polymer capacitors cut down ESR
The NSPV series of surface mount aluminium electrolytic capacitors uses a solid polymer electrolyte.
The new NSPV series of surface mount aluminium electrolytic capacitors from NIC Eurotech uses a solid polymer electrolyte This results in reduced equivalent series resistance (ESR), higher ripple current ratings and extended high temperature operational life when compared to devices using liquid electrolyte

Capacitor arrays have reduced trace distances
Now available from NIC Components, a range of 0805 size ceramic chip capacitor arrays that feature reduced trace distance, improving performance for high-speed applications.
NSPV series capacitors are housed in cylindrical leadless cases ranging in size from 8 x 7 to 10 x 10.5mm.
Capacitance values of between 22 and 680uF and working voltage ratings of 6.3 to 25V DC are available.
With impedance values as low as 15mohm and ripple current ratings of up to 5.1A RMS (at +105C/100kHz), NSPV series capacitors are ideal for use in low-voltage high-current applications such as power supplies, DC/DC convertors and voltage regulators.
All devices from the range are able to operate at temperatures between -55 and +105C.
NSPV capacitors can be supplied either in bulk or tape and reel packaged for use with automated insertion PCB manufacturing.
All parts are available with an optional lead-free finish.
