Three employees from Buckingham based passive components supplier NIC Components Europe have completed the Northampton Race for Life.

Three employees from Buckingham based passive components supplier NIC Components Europe have completed the Northampton Race for Life The event is one of a national series that raises money for Cancer Research UK

Sarah Landy, Alison Plummer, and Trina Upcott all completed the 5km course around the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit in Northamptonshire.

The trio, who were joined by members of their families for the race, raised over GBP 500 for the charity as well as achieving their own personal goals.

In total 5000 competitors took part in the Northampton Race for Life.

The organisers expected that the event would ultimately raise around GBP 320,000 once all sponsorship money was collected.

Nationally the Race for Life events raise a total of approximately GBP 46 million per year.
