Ultraminiature fuses protect on the surface

A NIC Components Europe product story

Thick- and thin-film surface-mounting micro fuses can be reflow soldered and come with full safety agency certification.

NIC Components' comprehensive portfolio of passive components now includes safety agency certified surface mount chip fuses.

The NFCC, NFHC and NFSC series provide an ultraminiature solution to circuit protection applications in a wide range of electronics equipment.

The NFCC and NFHC series are fast acting micro fuses that use thin-film construction techniques and are available in case sizes from 0402 to 1206.

Current ratings range from 0.2 to 5.0A, and parts are available with rated voltages that span 24 to 50V DC.

NFCC and NFHC surface mount fuses are current derated above 70C.

The NFSC series uses thick-film technology and provides high antipulse performance.

Parts are housed in 0603 size cases and offer current ratings of 0.5 to 5.0A (derated over entire temperature range).

Voltage rating is 32V DC.

NFCC, NFHC and NFCC micro fuses have an operating temperature range of -55 to +125C.

They are certified to UL (USA and Canada) safety standard approval for supplemental fuses and are fully compatible with Pb-free flow (0603 sizes and larger) and Pb-free reflow soldering processes (all sizes).
