The latest pair of switching power supplies from Minebea are optimised for use in workstations and network servers with AMD processors.

The latest pair of switching power supplies from Minebea are optimised for use in workstations and network servers with AMD processors.

The SD223U (300W) and the SD224U (350W) are five-output, fan cooled switching power supplies, with an enhanced auxiliary supply which can provide 1.5A in "sleep" mode, allowing system rapid resume and wakeup options to be implemented.

All outputs are SELV compliant.

Thermal fan speed control provides automatic internal temperature regulation.

Both models are housed in an enhanced airflow PS2 style enclosure and are designed for industry standard ATX compatibility.

Both power supply units are cooled by a low noise 80mm ball-bearing fan and comply with regulatory requirements for active PFC (EN61000-3-2).

They have wide input ranges of 90-264V AC, and are tested for ambient temperatures up to 50C.

The modules feature short-circuit, overvoltage and current protection on all outputs.
