Standard fan range is now RoHS compliant

A NMB-Minebea product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Apr 8, 2005

All hazardous substances defined in the European RoHS Directive (2003/95/EC) have now been removed from NMB-Minebea standard fan products.

NMB-Minebea and its group companies have been working towards improving the environmental aspects of their products for many years.

As a result of this approach all hazardous substances defined in the European RoHS Directive (2003/95/EC) have now been removed from all standard fan products, and the company guarantees that such products produced on or after 1st April 2005 will be compliant with the RoHS Directive.

The compliant range covers DC axial fans up to 120 x 32mm size, plus the 4715KL (120 x 38mm) series, all AC axial fans, and all DC compact blowers.

All other fans, including large radial blowers, and axial fans from 120 x 38mm upwards will also become RoHS compliant by the end of 2005.

Compliant products will be identified with the words "RoHS Compliant" displayed on the label on the carton box in which the product is supplied.
