At the ZigBee meeting in Berlin Nanotron Technologies demonstrated the first evaluation boards for its new wireless network Nanonet.
Nanotron will use the funds to bring its wireless network Nanonet to market and to develop new RF products with the full flexibility of the MDMA technology.
"This new round of funding proves again that our investors still have great trust in us and our technology", says Nanotron's founder and Managing Director Manfred Koslar.
"The foundation for this was our successful R and D work in the last several years which demonstrated the strength of our MDMA technology and the unique features of Nanonet".
"The numerous inquiries from customers from all over the world demonstrate clearly that Nanonet meets the requirements of the rapidly growing wireless market", says Michael Schefczyk, Chairman of Nanotron's supervisory board.
"We will use this funding to bring Nanonet to the world market in 2004 and to start the development of new products which use the full potential of our MDMA technology".
In the course of the new funding round Helmut Adamski will step down as Managing Director and will leave the company by mid-2004.
