Before joining Northwire, Brown was General Manager of Intercon 1, a premier producer of camera cable and assemblies in the USA.
Intercon 1 is a division of Nortech Systems, specialising in machine vision technology.
Prior to that, Brown was a Sales Manager with Zercom Corporation, now also part of Nortech Systems, and a Vice President with Ji-Haw Industrial, a leading supplier of information technology and communication cords and connectivity in Taiwan, China and Thailand.
He also held sales or marketing positions with Deco Electronics and Hirose Electric USA, a connector manufacturer in Simi Valley, California.
Brown began his career as a Technical Training Co-ordinator with Force Electronics, a specialty distributor of connectors, located in Inglewood, (southern) California.
Brown is a long-time member of the Automated Imaging Association (AIA) and a member of the Camera Link Committee.
