The National Physical Laboratory web page "The most frequently asked questions" has received so many hits that it has been updated and extended The website now poses the "Top 37 questions" giving answers and offering advice on a range of topics relevant to lead-free soldering, including the WEEE/RoHS directives, compliance, solder replacements, equipment upgrades, component compatibility, reliability and training

To give examples, the first four questions are: What is the definition of lead-free? Is there an allowable threshold limit? When does the ban on the use of lead solders come into force? What are the exemptions?.
