Linear deal extends into Europe

Nu Horizons is to distribute Linear Technology's complete line of high-performance analogue integrated circuits in the UK and Ireland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Nu Horizons Electronics Corp has expanded its five-year North American and two-year Asia Pacific partnership agreement with Linear Technology Corp into the European region.

Effective immediately, Nu Horizons will distribute Linear Technology's complete line of high-performance analogue integrated circuits in the UK and Ireland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Dave Bowers, President of Nu Horizons Distribution Division stated: "We are extremely excited to add Linear Technology's superior product offering to our technology-focused European linecard".

Applications for Linear Technology's high performance circuits include telecommunications, cellular telephones, networking products such as optical switches, notebook and desktop computers, computer peripherals, video/multimedia, industrial instrumentation, security monitoring devices, high-end consumer products such as digital cameras and MP3 players, complex medical devices, automotive electronics, factory automation, process control, and military and space systems.
