Full details of the EMC UK 2006 conference programme have just been announced, and abstracts of the papers that will be presented at the two-day event are available on the event website EMC UK 2006 - which also includes an exhibition - will be held at the Racecourse, Newbury on 17th and 18th October 2006, and the comprehensive conference programme comprises nine modules and 28 papers over the two days, plus a keynote address by Andy Drozd President of the IEEE EMC Society

Two further modules on defence and avionics will be chaired by leading industry gurus Dr Nigel Carter of QinetiQ and Ian MacDiarmid of BAE Systems, respectively.
Risk based design and EMC and exposure also figure in an exiting programme.
Completing the conference, a full module is devoted to other relevant directives such as WEEE, RoHS and EuP, with emphasis an how they affect EMC design.
There are also free workshops and EMC basic training sessions.
For the third year running, organiser Nutwood UK reports that exhibition space has sold out.
Products from over 50 companies will be on display including filters, shielding, test equipment, shielded rooms, enclosures and test labs.
EMC UK 2006 is being staged in association with The IET EMC Professional Networks and supported by EMCIA, EMCTLA and the IEEE GB and NI Chapter.
Conference delegates can save money by booking before 31st July 2006.
Entrance to the exhibition is free and there is also ample free car parking.
