Ribbons unite mothers and daughters
The ODU Mini-Fix card-to-cable connector system has been developed to connect printed circuit boards, such as mother and daughter boards, to one another with ribbon cables.
Based on a 1.27 x 2.54mm contact grid the connector is available in 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 way.
It has been designed for a nominal current of 0.5A.
High mating cycle capability, a maximum contact resistance of 6mohm and a mating force of 0.18N/contact are other features.
Two types of latching are available if required; plastic side levers giving the component an assembly height of 12.7mm or a metal clip that reduces the assembly height to only 9mm.
Items in the range include straight and angled solder-in headers, straight SMT headers, IDC sockets to mate with the headers and solder-in PCB connectors.
